Bengal cat

Bengal Cat

Class: Mammal
Order: Carnivores
Family: Felidae
Species: Felis silvestris catus

From my wild ancestor, I inherited a love for water, agility, and strong social bonds with humans.

Did you know that...

…it still has a wild soul!
Although it is a domestic animal, the Bengal cat retains a strong wild side.
It has a muscular structure that makes it agile and fast, loves being outdoors, and is the only domestic cat that enjoys swimming!
Despite their wild side, Bengals are affectionate and sociable pets, the result of a long process of selection and adaptation to life alongside humans.

How to behave?

✅ If there’s a cat at the window, I can look at it, but…
❌ …don’t hit the screen or shout!
[The mosquito net is fragile — if it breaks, the cats might escape.]

✅ I can go inside the house, but…
❌ …I must be careful!
[Knock first, wait until you’re told to come in, and move quickly.]
